Jondo Pigeon Grit is a formulated grit for pigeons.
Grit is used by all birds to grind down food in their gizzards, as they do not have teeth. The grit and gizzard muscles combine to grind the food down.
Pigeons require grit to digest their food properly. So grit is essential to aid their dietary needs.
Grit can also assists pigeons to produce eggs.
